A licensed stockbroker since 1981, Harvey Bell advises clients and tracks investment portfolios. As part of his charitable giving in his native New Jersey, Harvey Bell supports the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

In keeping with its mission to educate the public and advance the security interests of the state of Israel, AIPAC maintains its Fellow Program. Participants in the program establish contact lists and help to locate donors.
Recent college graduates with strong communications and leadership experience are encouraged to apply. Other criteria include self-motivation, the ability to work with teams as well as alone, and being comfortable handling refusals from prospects.
Fellows must commit to two years’ service in one of AIPAC’s offices in Los Angeles, New York City, or Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. After training, they must arrange at least 15 donor meetings per month and complete at least 150 cold calls per day.
In addition to solicitation, fellows must stay current on the latest political and other developments as they relate to the U.S.-Israel partnership. Supporting their goals, fellows will maintain the AIPAC donor database and track their fundraising progress.
